Congratulations to collaborator and CITA graduate student Michael Grehan on his nice new work, Sparking Dynamic, Relativistic Magnetic Reconnection in a Twisted Flux Tube, with Christopher Thompson, Bart Ripperda, and me!

The study explores how a localized disturbance sparks reconnection in a twisted flux tube, releasing magnetic energy into plasma motions and heating. The preprint is now on arXiv and has been submitted to The Astrophysical Journal.
